Lyons slates Jackson
(Amicus turns to Inimicus)
Roger Lyons, General Secretary of the amicus-MSF super-union has chucked his toys out of the amicus pram and called off joint meetings with amicus-AEEU.

This is after writing an extraordinary letter, leaked to www.rogerlyons.com yesterday, in which he accuses Two Jobs Jackson of leaking confidential documents to Lyons' Guardian nemesis, Journalist David Hencke, exposer of Lyon's famous 25p bun expense claim. Here are some choice quotes from the leaked letter:

Lyons to Jackson: "Hencke had been extensively briefed by the AEEU about the unsubstantiated views you outlined about the future financial position of MSF ".

A clearly enraged Lyons continues:

"The frank exchanges and financial detail provided to the meeting were selectively leaked to Hencke by the AEEU in complete contravention of any concept of trust and confidence, let alone the formation of a new, unified union."[sic]

A leaky Lyons concludes:

"We.. see no purpose in any other joint meetings at any level. Such meetings are therefore suspended until the Joint Executive has a full opportunity to discuss this matter" [our emphasis]

Meanwhile, in a terse comment on the story that started it all "Union leading pensions attack has own 'black hole'" , Lyons maintains on the official MSF web site that all is well with the MSF pension fund: (LYONSWeb is not responsible for, and cannot verify the content of, other web sites").

'Honest Bastard' Two Jobs Jackson or 'Roger the Dodger', who can you trust nowadays?
